The model menu contains items that allow all the parts of a truss model to be edited and then the problem to be solved:
The first four choices are
The second to last item Solve is only active once at least one element has been entered. Solve will not work unless there is a combined total of 4 Loads and Restraints applied to the model. At least 3 Restraints are always needed and then 1 or more Loads.
The final item, View Results is only active after the problem has been solved. Then it allows you to view the text of current results which includes values for displacements and bar forces. See Results file format for more information on the text displayed.
