BAEM Advising Guide

BAEM Spring Advising E-mail

Subject: Important: BAEM Advising for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 has started.

Hello BAEM Major,

Advising for BAEM majors has started for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019. Note that registration starts April 12th for Fall 2018.

If you are graduating before Fall 2018 please see to apply for your degree and then ignore the rest of this message. Once you have applied to graduate, you can sign up to attend Commencement in May (even if you are not graduating in May).

An advising (DS) hold has been placed on your records. To remove this hold (and any duplicate DS holds) you need to submit your academic plans for Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 and have them approved by your adviser. This is done using our on-line system at You may also request an appointment with your adviser using this system, but an advising appointment is not required.

Instructions for submitting your plans and other advising materials can be found at

See for more advising notes specific to your year in the program.

In addition, there is extended information available on the technical electives offered by the AEM Department. See . Once you select a term to view, click on the "View more information about this course" links to see this information.

To check your progress towards the BAEM degree and what requirements you have yet to meet, obtain an APAS report using the link on One Stop also has links to class schedules and other useful information. Quick class schedules and a Liberal Education class search are available at TwoStop: .

Please contact me or your adviser if you have any problems with this process.
