AEM GRADUATE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

A four-year B.S. degree in an engineering, basic science, or mathematics program is required. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores are not required for admission, but these scores will be taken into account if they are provided. GRE scores are required for Graduate School Fellowship nominees. Students whose native language is not English are required to submit scores from one of the following English proficiency examinations:

Examination Minimum score

Please visit the Graduate School's website for complete details regarding the TOEFL, MELAB and IELTS minimum score requirements

Please note that in general we admit graduate students for fall semester only. Only under unusual circumstances will students be allowed to begin their studies at another time during the academic year.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for admission well in advance of the term in which they wish to enter the Graduate School (but no more than one year in advance of the proposed entry date).

**Note:Individual faculty members cannot admit students to the AEM Graduate Program -- Only the Director of Graduate Studies along with the Graduate School can grant admittance.**
