Research

Experimental solid mechanics focused on studying the relationship between microstructural and overall behavior in single metallic crystals. In particular this includes fracture in active and ductile single crystals and micromechanics of shape-memory and ferromagnetic shape-memory materials. Other work includes development of experimental methods.
