Contact Information

Professor Longmire's research uses advanced experimental methods to study single- and multi-phase turbulent flows, liquid/liquid mixtures, microscale flows, and biomedical flows. Current projects focus on eddy identification in turbulent boundary layers, droplet generation and coalescence in liquid/liquid flows with surface tension, fluid/structure interaction and cell processing in microscale devices (MEMS), and cardiovascular flow.
