Other Undergraduate Notes
Sarah Braasch, AEM senior, spent spring quarter doing research in flight control at CERT (Centre d'Etudes et de Recherche de Toulouse) which is a decentralized establishment of ONERA (Office National d'Etudes et de Recherches Aerospatiale). CERT is the research center for one of the premier aerospace universities in France, Ecole Nationale Superieure de l'Aeronautique et de l'Espace, Sup Aero for short. We have had an informal exchange program with Sup Aero and last year a student from France spent spring and summer working with Professor Gary Balas on control of large space structures.
