AEM spotlight:

I am currently a part of SAWDRIP (Summer Aerospace Workforce Development Research Internship Program) at Goddard. This program was created to help student interns get to know/work with contractors through NASA. I am working with Dr. Igor Eberstein, and Dr. Michael Rilee. Dr. Eberstein is a NASA employee and Dr. Rilee works for CSC (Computer Science Corporation). I am working with Dr. Rilee to install two quantum chemistry programs on to Goddard’s supercomputers and with Dr. Eberstein to take data with the programs. I am glad to have this experience to see what sorts of work NASA does (I didn’t realize the variety before coming here) and to meet employees for future networking purposes.
