JOB DESCRIPTION

ENGINEERING AIDE POSITION

General:          Temporary employee, non-exempt.

                        Part-time (approximately 20 hour/week) during school year,

                        Full-time during summer months.

                        Plymouth MN  (FluiDyne) Aerodynamic Test Laboratory.

                        Reports to Test Engineer Group Leader.

Duties:                        Primarily clerical with duties that provide exposure

                        to state-of-the art aerodynamic testing procedures and data analysis.

                        Assist Test Engineers in conducting exhaust nozzle test programs.

                        Run standard data reduction computer programs.  Process computer-

                        generated data sheets (file computer outputs,  maintain  neat and

                        accurate data books).  Some copying.  Prepare technical report figures.

                        Possibly assist with test rig operation.

Requirements:            3 years college leading to Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering degree.

                        Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

                        Self-motivated, mature judgment, good communicator, work well

                        with coworkers.
