Independent, directed study.
MDS 3101 - Project Development
(1 cr; Prereq-3001W, MdS major, adviser referral, permission number, basic computer/internet skills; A-F only; offered Every Fall, Spring & Summer; may be repeated for 5 credits; may be repeated 5 times)
Development, completion, approval of MdS project proposal. Steps/skills of academic project design/development including academic research/writing. Library data base searching methods/citation styles.
MDS 3201 - Project Registration (Completely Online)
(2 cr; Prereq-include MDS 3001W, MDS 3101, MDS major status, and permission from an MDS adviser.; A-F only; offered Every Fall, Spring & Summer; may be repeated for 6 credits; may be repeated 3 times)
The Project Registration course is an elective within the Multidisciplinary Studies program. The proposal for this course is designed within the previous course, MDS 3101-Project Development. MDS 3201 is designed to allow the completion of project proposal outcomes in consultation with the course instructor and project evaluator, who will provide final approval. Three completions are allowed.
