As a fourth year student at the University of Minnesota studying Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics, Mathematics, and Arabic Language, I've had the benefit of fully experiencing all this school has to offer. The AEM department at the U of M has allowed me to explore my interests and cultivate my passions. Through the classes I've taken as a part of this major, I've developed my interest in the applications of fluid flows and fluid mechanics, which has helped direct my path and plans for the future. After my graduation next fall, I plan to further my education either through academia or technical experience. This scholarship allows me to focus more time on current projects I'm working on within the department. In the future, I hope to use my skills gained from the AEM department alongside what I've learned in my other studies to further humanity's exploration of space.
The Department of Aerospace Engineering and Mechanics maintains a strong relationship with our alumni, and continuously works to provide services and opportunities for alumni to stay in touch with the department and with each other.
